At Lasswell's Studio, we've been photographing Cedar Rapids and the surrounding area residents since 1909. I am proud to be the current owner/photographer since 1997 and carry on the Lasswell's tradition of fine portraiture while combining it with my own style and ideas of today.  I have been a Professional Photographer since receiving my B.A. Degree in Art from the University of Northern Iowa in 1984. Prior to relocating back to Cedar Rapids, I lived and worked in Seattle, Washington where I specialized in wedding photography for several years. Lasswell's specializes in weddings, high school seniors, families, children and business portraits.

In keeping up with the times, I have switched over to digital technology in my photography techniques. Seniors, Families, Children and Engagement Photos are now presented to you in a digitally coil-bound booklet with the cover being a collage which can also be purchased if desired.
